At 5:00 PM on 11/20/10, I won my second NaNoWriMo, having written my 50,012th word. Time to celebrate!!
The novel’s still not done but NaNo’s at least in the bag and the plot is starting to build to the final action-filled conclusion. Hopefully, I’ll be motivated to wrap up draft one before the end of the month, but I’m sorely tempted to flesh out and correct earlier parts. Then there are a few strikeouts that I’ve left in the draft for now but will delete as I add more words.
Now for that belated birthday dinner and celebration.
